Joel DaSilva

Deep into his Chicago blues and americana roots, DaSilva has emerged with visceral material, the culmination of years of soul searching, living and late night driving. The result?

Constant NEW Music.

He’s the REAL DEAL.

His aura is combustible neo-soul-roots sound which combines elements of hi-fi garage blues with a driving roots rock and roll. Joel tours the states and overseas quite often performing at high end venues and festivals and is the son of traveling musicians from Brazil. DaSilva lost his father at age 3, which had a profound impact on the young artist’s life. At the age of 18, DaSilva joined his first blues outfit as the lead guitarist for “Junior Drinkwater and the Thirstquenchers”, then went onto swing rockabilly outfit “the Regulators”, then for several years after that with the very popular high energy band “the Hep Cat Boo Daddies”. DaSilva has worked alongside such widely recognized and diverse artists as B.B.King, Buddy Guy, Ray Charles, the Bee Gees, the White Stripes, A.C. Reed, the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Reverend Horton Heat, Foghat, Los Lobos, Leon Russell, the Black Crowes, Molly Hatchet, the Nighthawks, Edgar and Johnny Winter, JJ Grey, Clarence Clemmons, Jeff Beck, Dick Dale, the Blue Oyster Cult, Robby Krieger, and Jimmie Vaughan….and many more and continue to grow.
